The Anti Corruption Bareilly team has arrested the mining department clerk red handed while accepting a bribe of twenty thousand rupees.
The anti-corruption team had applied chemical on the notes.


(Fasi Ur Rehman beig) Moradabad. The victim says that despite getting the mining order from Lucknow, the mining department officer had demanded three lakh rupees in exchange for approval. The action of the anti corruption team has created a stir in the collectorate.Farmer Rafi had applied for mining as per rules, after which he was issued an NOC after completing all the formalities. The farmer says that he reached mining officer Rahul Singh with the NOC and requested him to issue the approval. Rafi alleges that the department kept procrastinating. He was making rounds of the mining department for the last several months. Victim farmer Rafi accused mining officer Rahul Singh that he demanded a bribe of three lakh rupees and said that the approval letter would be issued if the money was given to Shahrukh, a clerk in his office. The farmer, upset, lodged a complaint with the anti corruption department. The anti-corruption team finalized the plan and informed the farmer. Meanwhile, the farmer agreed to give twenty thousand rupees. According to the mining officer, he gave forty notes of five hundred rupees to Shahrukh posted at the office.At around 12.15 in the afternoon, while taking the notes from the farmer and counting them, the anti-corruption department team arrested him. The team brought the accused Shahrukh to the Civil Lines police station and after doing the necessary paperwork, took him to Bareilly. The surprising thing is that even after the increase in action by the anti-corruption department, bribery in government departments is not stopping.
